Appointment Terms & Conditions

By sending an Appointment request, as well as by agreeing to do therapy with us with or without sending an appointment request, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and are agreeing with the following terms and conditions.
A session has a standard duration of 50 minutes. You agree to attend sessions on the agreed time, so that in case you come late, it cannot result in us offering a fee lesser that that agreed upon, or in a prolongation of that session.

If you are a private client, any session cancelled by you with less than 24 hour notice will result in the therapist having the right to charge that session in full. If you are an Employee Assistance Program client, in which case you don’t pay for the sessions, such cancellation will result in you forfeiting the session.

You agree that Behar Center personnel will contact you upon specific professional occasions, typically in relation to session been cancelled or rescheduled.

Behar Center personnel is highly experienced and qualified, and is committed at all times to do everything within what is professionally and ethically possible to help you meet the therapeutic objectives you came with to seek treatment: to feel relief, to grow, to have a more stable and rewarding relationship, or to resolve a painful life dilemma.
Nevertheless, on the very same ethical and professional grounds, it is not possible to provide guarantee of expected success. All counselling and therapy appointments with a psychologist are eventually an encounter of people and not of machines. It is therefore possible, that despite all our effort, you may
still not feel that your expected goals from the sessions have been met. In such case, you agree that Behar Center cannot pay any refund. You agree that success cannot be guaranteed.
